Hard shifting
Just bought a new RTV X1100c to replace a RTV 500 that was about a year old. Both are hydrostatic, the 500 shifted great but the 1100 is really hard shifting. It is used on a farm so there is a lot of direction changes in the course of the work day. Sometimes it is a 15-20 second ordeal to shift from reverse to drive. I am aware that pressing down on the brake really hard relieves pressure but this only works marginally. The dealership where I bought it are great folks but I do not have the confidence they can fix it, they sell few of these units. Does anybody know of a mechanic/dealership that has experience setting these machines up? I live in Va but am willing to travel most anywhere to get a fix for this. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
gst
